Invested 2500 hours in making videos in 2+ years. With 0 revenue. My biggest mistake: I paid for boost my views (YT ad). After that, YT suddenly cut back the organic reach by ~90%. Don't be me. Don't pay for YT ads.

This is exactly what happened to me back in 2018 I got over 2,500 subs. One video did over 100k views but then I was rejected for copyrighted material. Then I started deleting the videos with copyrighted material only to discover that I lost all my watch hours, 😭 till today I haven’t gone back there, I was defeated completely and now I have 2 kids, I don’t see myself spending hours editing videos anymore.

That’s exactly what happened to me in 2023... and I gave up... I was spending up to 15 hours editing, and paying for subscriptions to CapCut and other tools.😳

I use to upload copyrighted material to get the subscribers delete it post radio content where I added the visuals and got 4k hours watchtime and got monetised. Uploaded every day. Got 140k subscribers . It earned like 5k a month for 4 years . When the radio channel started its own YouTube channel the channel got demonetised
