I’ve always said even if he didn’t do it, he should’ve been charged for reckless endangerment of a child for leaving them in her care alone!

I did find it suspicious where he was questioned about December 3rd 2022 (I think) where he had paid for a massage and a meal and they assumed it was with Lindsey… but he looked shocked/confused and said no, no we didn’t go out. It sounds like he could have been with his new partner and potentially confirms an active affair. And there were drugs in her blood that she had supposedly stopped taking? But I’m not sure if this is true or not but it would suggest someone was drugging her

Patrick is guilty for leaving his children with Lindsey knowing she was very unwell. So he’s guilty of putting them in harms way so neglect at the very least.

A psychotic break is a severe health matter. I don't think people truly appreciate how separate people are from reality, when experiencing one.

I think it’s Mothers who have never suffered from any mental health issues, who don’t believe any mother could do this to her children. Therefore it must have been someone else. They can’t see that two things can be true at the same time. A mental breakdown, and the way she was let down by the professionals. Only one person is guilty of unaliving the children, the trial is not about guilt or innocence, the trial is about how responsible she was. What she was suffering in that moment, the experts who see it for what it is, was it premeditated etc.

I think what I see is a man that let the nanny go when she was in crisis , the man that went on skiing trips and out with his friends quite a lot which would’ve added to her isolation, took all the money on the GoFundMe page, started a new life very quick, i just think he was a poor husband and shows the lack of support mothers have from partners and to be honest I think that’s definitely over 50% of the population

I agree with you. She became very ill over several months, was desperate for help and didn't get it in time. Her family tried to support her but appeared to be just as confused about what was going on as she was. People are looking at what happened with the benefit of hindsight...her illness progressed over several months and gradually got more serious the longer it wasn't treated properly. It is also very common for people who experience psychosis for the first time not to tell anyone the full extent of what they are experiencing. He does not deserve all these wild accusations and they were all massively failed by the healthcare system

I’d love to hear why clean blood spots ended up under the bedside cabinet that had no finger prints on it, also why are there clear blood stains behind the clean curtain? https://eu.patriotledger.com/picture-gallery/news/courts/2026/08/05/lindsay-clancy-murder-trial-day-6-testimony-exhibits-evidence-blood-stains-medicines/91178406007/

I think this is loaded with gendered roles and expectations. Patrick may not have been perfect, but none of us would have been, including the women commenting on the trial. It is extremely difficult being the partner of someone with severe mental illness. It's exhausting, it can damage one's own mental health. If a man in a heterosexual relationship had done had killed three children i suspect very few people would be looking at the woman and exploring the minutae of every move and response to see if it was supportive enough, informed enough, because they would automatically have the compassion to understand that it was just so very difficult, horrendous. As for the mental health care. I have posted to you before Scouse Oracle. I work in statutory mh care. Have done for 25 years. Some people especially with severe mental ill health are so challenged by that state that their should be scrutiny of every single statement because they can make inaccurate statements. However that is the role of mental health professionals, however well informed no relative, no family can be expected to hold that weight. If as i am hearing that Lindsay took minimal amounts of prescribed psychiatric meds, attended some "courses" regarding her mental health, it is for those mh professionals to evaluate and offer an informed response to her mental state.

I agree with everything you say normally but on this I disagree. Those children deserve justice and if you’ve ever lived with or been in a relationship with a narcissist you will get what most women are seeing x

He may as well have driven them to a train track, left them there and claimed doesn’t matter I didn’t drive the train…

I normally agree with you but on this I don’t fully agree. He doesn’t have to be guilty for her to be guilt free I agree but there is a lot of doubt creeping in because things aren’t as black and white as we believe them to be.

also her psychologist sent a staff member out the room when she called her husband stating she heard a voice, so no witness to back that up

She was deep in psychosis and heavily let down by everyone. She will have to live with this every second of her life and will never forget it.

I think she genuinely believes that she killed them, that's why her defense isn't that she didn't. I think he did a number on her, knowing how fragile her mental state was, and has pinned the murders on her but he's the one who killed them.

I understand she was struggling, but realistically, if she had psycosis, she still needs to go to prison for murder. Could she have been helped, yes? does that excuse killing 3 children, no.

Although there is no concrete evidence that Patrick was involved I do think he is negligent and partly responsible for what happened. He visibly saw the decline in Lindsay, she told him she was hearing voices and they lived together, so he was a witness to her struggle, lack of sleep, attempt to seek help from professionals. He should have supported her more, perhaps taken time off work to share the responsibility of the kids, or maybe even increased hours with the nanny - instead they let go of the nanny and he carried on with his activities (recall Reddington mentioning skiing). There was a series of compounding events and I can’t help but think if he was more active in his support she may have had a chance to get better?

I do think he is partly responsible. she really should have got the help needed and he shouldn't have left her alone. should he be charged with something probably not he now got to live with his mistakes. ❤️

A hospital chaplain Sheila did not tell Lindsay that her children were 'dead', she said 'yes, your children are safe in heaven'. Because Lindsay was saying to her that the voice told her that killing children and killing herself was the only way to stay safe. That's called altruistic filicide. Patrick didn't kill the children, but he was definitely a very ignorant and dismissive husband.
