They know the strong you. The survivor. The woman who has been through hell and made it out the other side. The mom who cherishes every moment a little more deeply because she knows just how precious those moments are. They know the woman who was pushed to the edge and is still standing. The mom who put her son first and did everything she possibly could to give him the best chance he could have. And yes, you’ll never be exactly the same. But before, you were the mom who would have done anything for her kids. Now you’re the mom who DID everything she possibly could for her child, even when doing it broke your own heart. This version of you has seen the darkest parts of life and still chooses to live in the light. Your kids may never know the version of you that existed before, but they get to know the woman she became. You were an amazing mom before. You’re an amazingly strong mom now, even on the days when you don’t feel strong at all. And I hope someday you can see this version of yourself the way the rest of us do. ❤️
