These aren’t paradoxes, they’re logical consequences of the same underlying traits. I’m fiercely loyal, so I expect loyalty from the people closest to me. Experience has shown me how rare that level of loyalty actually is and how high the cost can be when it’s misplaced. Of course I don’t trust easily. That isn’t contradictory, it’s pattern recognition. The same applies to perfectionism. Imagine being able to see how an entire system works, identify the failure points, determine the optimal strategy for achieving the desired outcome - and then still fall short, often because of something completely avoidable. You’re not just disappointed that you failed; you’re acutely aware of exactly how, why, and to what extent you failed to live up to your own potential. Of course that’s frustrating. Wanting freedom while maintaining control, wanting to be understood while being selective about who gets access to you, craving closeness while being cautious about vulnerability - none of those are inherently contradictory either. If you understand the risks and their consequences, caution is rational. INTJs aren’t paradoxical. A lot of what looks contradictory from the outside is internally consistent once you understand the reasoning behind it.

I hear people say intj E8 is impossible but I also hear good arguments against it. I related most to intj E8 (sp8) and want to hear which is more correct. Because from what I do know is that there is possibly of intj E8, but from the uproar of people saying no I am unsure.

As an intj, sometimes i get crazy because i can't control my future and past. When a good coincidence saves me from something, instead of being happy, i find myself blaming because i couldn't see what's coming before it happens. I'm trying to remind myself that I'm human after all i can't know or control everything and sometimes bad events can cause good things, however that doesn't make the bad event essential. Still my brain is underestimating me and forces me to analyze every possible thing and im forgetting to live in present. Its so exhausting..

The Brutal Honesty is my problem/gift. I would like the other things, but not at the expense of having to give up my honesty. Ive always found it hypocritical that other people are allowed to "be truthful" with me, but when Im truthful with them, all of a sudden Im the bad guy, Im being mean, Im too much. All Im doing is reflecting their treatment of me back to them, but suddenly they dont seem to enjoy how they have been treating me. Strange, huh? 🤷🏼♀️
