I remember over a year ago this month I met Sabo’s Dub voice actor the one and only Johnny Yong Bosch. And when I told him how much this scene really broke me, knowing that Sabo not only regained his memories of Luffy and Ace but he was too late to help save Ace. But what I did not know was around the time when they were recording his voice for this episode. It was sometime after his real life brother died. And after hearing that story and how he portrayed his character into his real life story that even made it hurt even more, but the fact that he did an amazing job for this moment made me respect him and love him more as a voice actor, he truly is an iconic one and the fact that he gets to play Sabo who is one of my top 10 favorite characters is amazing. I just wish that Ace didn’t have to die. I really wanted to see all three brothers together as adults living their dreams. We may never get that now, but in our hearts, Luffy will achieve his dream and become king of the Pirates Sabo will write his book about all of his adventures and Ace has already lived his dream of being known as a great pirate
