How important is the personal statement for chemistry at Oxford? I have completed a decent few drafts now and am considering just leaving it be mostly. I hear for many STEM subjects at Oxbridge that the personal statement isn't particularly important, however chemistry doesn't have an admissions test so I was curious if that impacts anything, particularly on how they shortlist for interviews. (I have good GCSEs and am confident I should get good predicted grades so I am not too concerned about those)

I wanted to ask in my personal statement about 3300-3500 is super curricular and the rest is why law and a conclusion - The thing is I only mention extra curricular for one sentence which is a work experience but then I link right back to an academic issue/super curricular. Is it an issue that I only mention extra curricular for one sentence when I'm trying to apply to the top 6 law unis? Should I replace some of the super curricular with extracurricular - do note that all of my super curriculars link together (academic journey)
