A BRIEF OF HOW SIR WICKNELL ACQUIRED HIS HELICOPTER & THE MYSTERY AFTER🚁🇿🇼📌 This video analyzes how the late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo acquired the helicopter that killed him in a crash, together with his wife Lucy Lulu Muteke, their personal assistant, and two pilots that were aboard when it crashed at Kudenga farm in Marondera rural area of Mashonaland East Province. The helicopter is a Bell 430, with its tail registration number as at the time of the crash being Z-PED, and its colour scheme at the time of the crash being White and Navy blue, and for starters, it was manufactured by the Texas headquartered American aerospace manufacturer Bell Textron (formerly known as Bell Helicopter), with its specific year of production being 2004, and it was among the 136 units of Bell 430 that the company produced between 1996 to 2008, before production was stopped. Before becoming a property of Wicknell Chivayo, this specific helicopter, whose Manufacturer's Serial Number is 49 103, passed through the hands of five different owners, changing hands between Americans and Canadians for 20 years, until it was finally passed over to Wicknell Chivayo between mid 2024 to early 2025 from its then Canadian operator, for slightly over 1.3 million dollars, that is the asking price by the Canadian seller. In April 2024, a South African charter and aviation broker company called Emperor Aviation, that is based at Rand Airport in Germiston, imported the helicopter into South Africa. They registered it on the South African civil register as ZT-RNX, and as shown in their April 24 2024 social media post announcing its arrival on South African soil, the helicopter arrived in South Africa still wearing its original Canadian red-and-white paint scheme. Chivayo then acquired the helicopter from the South African Emperor Aviation, and at that point, it was registered in Zimbabwe as Z-EDP, and he operated it directly in the original red-and-white color scheme, flying with it on various occasions within the country, including in his visits to his rural home at Gandami, where he was building what he used to call a 1 million dollar executive rural mansion and homestead. After operating on Zimbabwean soil for a while, the helicopter was sent back to South Africa for custom executive paint work -getting transformed from its white and red colour scheme, into the navy blue-and-white colour-and its Zimbabwean registration tail number was formally swapped from Z-EDP to Z-PED, and the colour change was completed in August 2026. So it is after it had returned back to Zimbabwe in the white and navy blue livery, that Wicknell Chivayo, in the company of his wife took it to their rural home in Gandami on September 30th 2026, afterwhich the tragedy befell them. #zimtiktokers🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼 #fyp #sirwicknellchivhayo #viral #AVIATION
