Gwen was being selfish by keeping secrets from Miles and not telling him the full truth and participating in hunting him down, all because she didn’t wanna go back to her own universe because she was too afraid of facing her father and being hunted down and arrested by him. She thought she was protecting Miles by not telling him the truth and stopping him from saving his dad, but in reality she was only protecting herself without even knowing it.
