A mãe tem medo do pai matar os filhotes, por isso que ela afasta. Tem casos que o pai mata os filhotes, principalmente os machos por dominância de território. A mãe só está protegendo os filhotes.

simplemente son muy protectoras los primeros días ya con el tiempo los van dejando acercarse , les da miedo el que perro los lástime aunque sea por accidente. Lo de matar a las crías por el celo no se da en los canidos.
