I ditch class and was walking around downtown LA. wasn't sure what I was going to do. to kill time I walked into recruitment office. 2 weeks later I was wearing Arny green.😂😂😂

Born into the Army at a field hospital in Heidelberg, Germany. Watched my Dad get his uniform ready every night, shine his boots. Lived in Italy, Alaska, Alabama. It was unspoken, but expected, that all 3 of his sons would enlist and we did.

my grandpa was a B-17 pilot in WWII, my dad was in the Navy during the Vietnam War. So I wanted to join the Navy and work on airplanes. So I did. 22 years retired Avionics Technician (ATC).
