True 100% ! I been there many times just better explanation is that the GRAND FIESTA beach is the only one 100% properly portrayed! Playa mujeres is crap but all new build resorts ,ISLA mujeres is an island you need a boat to get there and is probably the best beach in the country,,has only a handful of resorts on the island therefore 3 to 4 times more expensive everything!

In playa mujeres (atelier) now. Never want to go anywhere else but playa mujeres as described. Don’t forget to take a day trip to the island!

Depends on the season I thought? This was January 2025 @ Secrets Maroma Riveria. Very white sand, flat beach, and clear turquoise water.

Stayed in playa mujheres this spring. Horrible water. Crazy choppy and seaweed non stop. If that was my first time in Mexico I would never go back.

I was so disappointed in the beach when we stayed at Excaret!!!! We couldn’t even get in the water! This was in Playa Del Carmen.
