I used to be a train guard. You have to draw the line somewhere for runners but when two groups are in such close proximity, you can’t give access to one and blank the other just for the sake of 15 seconds. Not good at all in that occasion, quite rude and lacking in customer service skills.

If they had First Class Tickets to board that section of the Train the conductor was 💯 wrong and the two women should have walked past him and sat in the pre-paid first class seats!! Simple!
