Honestly? I don’t blame him. At the time, he had lost his job, we had been through a major health scare, and money wasn’t exactly something we had extra of. From the outside, it probably looked like I was taking a risk we couldn’t afford. Truthfully, I was scared too. But I had been praying for a way to help our family. Not for a miracle or a lottery ticket, just for an opportunity to create a little more stability and freedom. I didn’t have a big following. I wasn’t tech-savvy. I wasn’t an influencer. I just felt like God was nudging me to take one small step of faith. 🤍 So I invested in learning a new skill. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in it the entire time. That one decision has helped us pay off debt, increase our credit score, pay for Disney in cash, take trips we used to only talk about, and create income that doesn’t depend on a single employer. It’s still hard to believe that this year alone, the business skills I learned have generated over $250k in deposits. 😭 The biggest blessing isn’t the money, though. It’s seeing God’s faithfulness through a season when I couldn’t see how things were going to work out.
