@seadiaries.blue: Watch this whale go vertical in only 4m of water! I didn’t have being harassed by a whale on my to do list today, but apparently they don’t care about wildlife exclusion zones and personal space. This juvenile humpback approached me while I was freediving and hung out with me and circled me for about 30 minutes. This shot was an interesting moment where it decided to try and go vertical in water much shallower than it is tall🤣. This whale is approximately 8m long and the water is much shallower than that. The amount of intelligence and spacial awareness they have I find I find incredible. The amount of times it approached me within 1m and just as its pectoral fin was about to hit me it would move it so it would glide underneath me. Please be respectful of them and don’t touch them even when they are this curious, it will also most likely ruin the moment.
