After everything these dogs have been through, they were finally given a chance to move from the shelter toward foster care and, hopefully, forever homes. But their stories are not all the same — and some of them are still running out of time. Meet Chucky, Cookie, Murphy, Oliver and Teddy. Five dogs. Five different journeys. But all of them deserve the same thing: A safe place to call home. 🐾 CHUCKY & COOKIE Good news — their adoption is now clear to move forward. There is no adoption fee for either of them. Only the standard pre-adoption fee and the necessary care/needs for the dog would apply. They have already spent enough time waiting. What they need now is someone who sees their little faces and decides, “I’m going to be the person who finally takes you home.” Please don’t let the fact that they are now safe make you think they no longer need help. Safe is not the same as home. 💔 OLIVER Oliver is still facing uncertainty, and we are desperately trying to keep his story moving in the right direction. Thankfully, half of his transportation cost has already been paid, bringing him one step closer to getting where he needs to be. But we still need help with the remaining needs of his journey. Oliver doesn’t know about transportation costs. He doesn’t know about applications or deadlines. He only knows that people have come and gone, and he is still waiting for someone to make sure he is okay. And if he cannot move forward, his life remains at risk. 💔 MURPHY Murphy is currently under reserve, but we have not seen the next step completed yet. That means we still don’t know if the person who expressed interest is going to continue. If you were interested in Murphy, please don’t wait. Submit your application through the website linked in our bio and continue with the next step. A reservation means nothing if the process never moves forward. Murphy needs certainty. She needs someone to say, “Yes, I’m coming for you.” ❤️ TEDDY And Teddy’s story has a beautiful update. Teddy has been successfully adopted. He is NOT waiting for a home anymore. 🥹❤️ But adoption doesn’t mean everything suddenly becomes easy. Teddy is showing signs of fear and is still struggling to trust people. After everything he has experienced, his new family understands that he needs patience. He needs time to learn that people can be kind. That a hand reaching toward him doesn’t have to hurt. That a home doesn’t have to be temporary. That when someone says, “You’re safe,” they can actually mean it. So Teddy is being given the time he needs to understand this new life before he is fully settled into his next chapter. And that is what rescue should be about. Not just saving a dog from a shelter — but helping that dog learn how to live again. ❤️ Now we need to do the same for the others.
