Guatemala is a hidden gem. Tikal is a cool location similar to Peru’s Machu Pichu. Acatengango was life changing. We slept at the top of the mountain across from the volcano.

From El Salvador to Nicaragua stay a few days and explore San Juan Del sur then take a ferry to ometepe island, visit Granada and tour the island by boat and see monkeys 🐒 , then visit masaya volcano where you can see the hot lava!!!, then go to Leon and Visit the famous cathedral and take lots of pictures!, and if you like rum 🍹 visit Chichigalpa 40-1hr from Leon to do the flor de caña tour and drink some Nica rum!!
