@fisherzhangs_in_china: When my wife and I spotted this HUGE praying mantis on the ground outside this restaurant, our first thought was obviously to show the kids — and, admittedly, to give Millie a bit of a scare! 😂 She’s absolutely terrified of insects, and we’ve been trying to help her overcome that fear… although throwing a giant praying mantis into the mix might not have been the gentlest approach! Thankfully, she seemed okay in the end, and everyone enjoyed getting such a close look at this incredible little creature. Despite being native to this part of the world, praying mantises can be surprisingly difficult to spot thanks to their amazing camouflage! 🦗🇨🇳
