Winter glared. “It's not funny!” Karina climbed onto the bed and wrapped her arms around Winter. “Come here.” “No.” “Baby.” “No.” “Princess.” “No.” “My jealous little girlfriend.” Winter immediately buried her face in the pillow. “Stop calling me that.” Karina hugged her tighter. “You want kisses too?” “No.” Karina kissed her cheek. Winter stayed still. Another kiss. “Still mad?” “Yes.” Another. “No?” “Yes.” Another. “Still?” Winter finally turned toward her. “…Maybe a little less.” Karina laughed. “You're so cute.” “I hate you.” “You love me.” Winter sighed. “Unfortunately.” Suddenly BBONYO jumped onto the bed. Karina immediately turned. “AWWW! My baby!” She reached for BBONYO. Winter stared. Her jaw dropped. “YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN!” Karina laughed so hard she nearly fell over. Winter grabbed her pillow. “I'm leaving.” “Where are you going?” “To find a new girlfriend.” Karina gasped dramatically. “No!” “Maybe BBONYO can be your girlfriend.” “She can't.” “Why?” “Because I already have one.” Winter stopped. Karina smiled and pulled her closer. “You.” Winter's expression softened. “Really?” “Really.” “And I'm your favorite?” Karina kissed her forehead. “Always.” Winter smiled. Then pointed at BBONYO. “She gets one kiss.” Karina laughed. “Okay.” “Two.” “Deal.” “Fine.” Winter leaned against Karina. “But I get ten.” Karina smiled. “Ten?” “Minimum.” “You're spoiled.” Winter grinned. “By you.” BBONYO barked. Winter looked at her. “Don't start.” Karina burst out laughing. “Are you seriously still competing with her?” Winter hugged Karina tighter. “She's competition.” BBONYO wagged her tail. Winter narrowed her eyes. “Don't look so confident.” And Karina realized she was going to have to spend the rest of her life reassuring her girlfriend that the dog wasn't stealing her place.
