It’s a nonsensical argument. Even from a “faith alone” perspective, this is by no means a unilateral covenant where God does everything and we do nothing, because even from that perspective, at some point in your life you have to have faith in Christ and accept Him as your Savior. And that certainly doesn’t amount to “doing nothing.” In fact, in many cases, it means doing an enormous amount of work on yourself.
