@zibuedtz: Zanjeerain (2026) is the latest collaboration between director Shahzad Kashmiri and writer Farhat Ishtiaq -the same celebrated duo behind Yaqeen Ka Safar, and produced by Momina Duraid. From the very first frame, it announces itself as something grander and more atmospheric than the average primetime serial. The story unfolds against the breathtaking backdrop of lush green mountains, weaving together a world where love, greed, and buried secrets collide. Everyone in this world is hiding something, some are imprisoned by old customs and inherited loyalties, others are consumed by hunger for power, and some are simply trying, desperately, to shield the people they love. At the centre of it all is Rabia, played by Sajal Aly, a young woman who runs a modest dhaba with her brother, grounded and self-sufficient in a world that Constantly threatens to swallow people like her whole.
