@channelnewsasia: More than 3,000 lower-income residents in Tampines, Punggol and Pasir Ris-Changi towns will soon be able to collect free, warm meals from food lockers near their homes. Each eligible household will receive S$500 in credits, equivalent to about 165 meals. The halal-certified menu ranges from chicken rendang to teriyaki fish rice. But what are these meals actually like? We taste-test a selection and take a closer look at the portions, flavours and freshness. (Video: CNA/Syamil Sapari) #Singapore #sgnews

It appears that the carbohydrate portion may have been compromised by an excess of unhealthy white rice, which is a primary contributor to blood sugar spikes. Could it be that these servings are designed to encourage reliance on healthcare services from those consuming these meals? Just a thought. SG Forward 🤔
