I can't speak for everyone else here but for me personally the gas hasn't been the issue (I mean $4 a gallon is bad don't get me wrong) but my issue is by far rent. the rent is out of control it cost me $2200 a month for an apartment the size of a shoe box.

I'm 38 and I don't know ANYONE under 65 making extravagant purchases. my dude and I are fully employed and it still felt like a splurge to get late night taco bell on our way home from FREE trivia last night. it's fucking nuts to see fast food as not worth the price.

And walmarts been wasting money on "renovations", dynamic pricing, more self checkouts, and new bolted on cup holders. Can't find anything cus they moved it and there's always some online shopper in the way when you do. I go there as little as possible.

I remember when a 24 pack of Dr. Pepper was $5-$7 and thought that was alot. now, its around $15. we haven't bought soda is a WHILE.
