My daughter in law tried to h*ng herself with an extension cord. As we all know they loosen even when tightened. She got down and proceeded to get the dog leash. The medical examiner determined that She had postpartum psychosis. She just had a baby. In her journal the morning of, she recorded that she heard voices but chalked it up to lack of sleep due to nursing and caring for the other children at the same time. She loved her children. She was a great mother. She didn’t want to die.

Same thing for the trial. This is not TV. Court is boring, methodical, cases pretty well mapped before they ever go to trial. There’s not going to be some big twist or bombshell at the 11th hour!

Idk why regular people expect to understand the actions of someone in psychosis. I have a friend who went into psychosis and tried to hang herself w an extension cord in the hospital and ran away to try and die by lime scooter crash and a coworker who cut his throat and wrists. Very sad stuff

You don’t escalate up to a swan dive without being fully committed to lethality, the whole scene looked frenzied, disorganized and chaotic which is what I’d expect from someone in psychology
