I was laid off Monday. I found another job Thursday. my mom was upset that I asked if maybe someone else could drive her to her appointment as I will have just started and don't want to take two days off. she was so mad. I don't think she realises how crazy it is that I found a job in three days.

my mom had the audacity to complain that military personnel at the excursions were giving my dad special treatment. my dad had broken his lef 3 weeks before their vacation. he happened to bring his Canadian veteran hat. literally military personnel helping a vet up and down stairs and hills. I had to explain to my mom that its an unwritten code among all military members around the world, that you help veterans.

My mom pulled a whole ass Karen rant at the subway because “there wasn’t any lettuce” ( there in fact was) so I refused to continue our hangout until she either apologized to them or she gave them a $10 tip and I apologized on her behalf

Every time I see my mom she complains about how people text her when she's doing things or sleeping. Because "don't they know I go to bed early?!" or "they KNOW I read at this time!" and is irate when I suggest putting her phone on silent when she doesnt want to be disturbed. Nope, people should just KNOW her daily schedule 🥴

My mama, bless her, she’s my favorite person (and nowhere near this bad), does occasionally give in to Boomer entitlement. But to her credit, as soon as I ask during her vent sessions if that’s how we treat people, she accepts that she was kinda being a b*tch. She’s actually gone back to give apology gifts on several occasions.

2019. Hawaii. The last time I ever have (and ever will) travel with my mother. She had to take a LUGGAGE RACK through TSA she had so much shit. Wouldn't listen to me about ANYTHING.

We went to an agricultural show. It is clearly stated in any advertisements or information that there are no dogs (except certified service dogs) allowed. It has been this way for decades. There was an older woman parked close to the entryway telling EVERYONE who would listen that she had not been allowed in with her dog. And that her dog was just little. When we left she had a new friend with her, that also had dog, that had not been allowed in. My understanding was their spouses were in the grounds without them. 😂
