@moneystocker: The highest-paid TRADE jobs in the UK! The Prime Minister wants Britain to put apprenticeships and technical education on an equal footing with university, saying we should value the “hard hat” just as much as the graduation cap. And when you consider the cost of university, student loan repayments, and AI potentially disrupting more traditional white-collar careers, learning a trade might be something more teenagers should seriously consider. So I researched 10 of the highest-earning trades in the UK, including what experienced workers earn AND what specialists and contractors can make at the top end. Some of these salaries seriously surprised me... 👀 If you're in any of these fields and I'm wrong, let me know! Would you choose university or an apprenticeship? #apprenticeship #trades #careers #salary #money #PersonalFinance
I’m sorry but you cannot call yourself an en engineer unless you have a degree in engineering! Only in the UK! They are technicians. It pisses me off I went to University to get my degree!

You need specific training which for an electrician is ruffly £10k if paid privately and experience of at least 5 years before you can start your NVQ. It’s not that easy at all.
