My natural curl width and pattern is happy to sit separated like this and doesn’t like to be heavily finger coiled or mega clumped. As with all things curls: routines and methods - these depend on your unique hair type and pattern. We are all different ✨ ❓yes there are tools now that exist to do the clumping and separation for you all at once but I’ve styled my hair like this for a long time and like having the option to choose the width of the comb - so you’re essentially choosing your own width of separation after you clump the curls with a brush. ❓this demo is simply for people that resonate with: lack of volume, flat roots, mega clumping after brush styling and it not really suiting their curls.
