I wonder, how could the doctors commit malpractice if she wasn’t taking the treatment as prescribed?

There was no confession by Lindsay that was admissible in this criminal trial, so there is nothing to recant. The jury was specifically instructed at the very beginning by Judge Sullivan to disregard any pretrial information.

in the 2002 trial of Andrea Yates, Dr. Park Dietz, a prosecution psychiatrist falsely testified that an episode of the TV show [Law & Order] featured a mother drowning her children and using an insanity defense. No such episode existed. This false testimony helped lead to her initial murder conviction, which a Texas appeals court overturned in 2005.

I have to say seeing your posts on this trial in response to the mass hysteria of people on TikTok has been so refreshing. There are so many people spewing out flat out false and defamatory statements based solely on comments from other TikTokers and it’s downright scary. Seeing you RESPECTFULLY prove these theories wrong and explain the legal side lets me believe that there are still sane people in this world

MD :
the first day of testimony, Judge Sullivan reminded the jury that Lindsay is presumed innocent and that the Commonwealth has the burden of proving the charges beyond a reasonable doubt. Her having pleaded not guilty means the jury cannot start from the assumption that she is guilty. The fact that the defense acknowledges that she caused the deaths does not turn her plea into a guilty plea. Current reporting confirms she has pleaded not guilty to all three murder charges.
