In London it’s called “the knowledge” and the best part about Black Cabs is not only do they know all the hotels and streets , they also are licensed to use the Bus lanes … they can beat google maps as well , just in case you were thinking it’s all pointless. And finally, the sort of person who spends five years studying to be a taxi driver is the sort of person I want to be driving my daughter around, not somebody who woke up one morning and switched on an app.
