for me it was quite easy. the first time, she peed we wiped it up with a tissue and placed it in the litter box and she realised and learned. y'all should try

I’ve raised so many kittens in my lifetime and all I do is scratch their little paw in the little box and they go. I’ve never had a problem. So strange.

I’ve been told pellets are really not the best for cats, that it’s not what a cat would naturally choose to use outside like sand or dirt, and they don’t like the feeling on their paws.

As someone who's done this for free, you won't catch me do it for money cuz I won't be doing it AT ALL. I had to sacrifice my sleep and health for it 😭. Was stressed out the whole time. It's not as easy as it looks because Kittens are so vulnerable and it's important to monitor them very closely.

I'm a foster mom for my local Humane Society; I only foster bottle-babies and when they're weaned I bring them back to HSSM so they can be adopted out. IT'S MUCH HARDER THAN PEOPLE REALIZE. When they're newborns, you have to bottlefeed them every 2 hours around the clock. If it's a large litter, it takes at least half an hour to feed them and then stimulate them so they can pee and/or poop. Then an hour and a half later, the whole process is repeated, for weeks and weeks. That means you only sleep for 60-90 minutes at a time; it's exhausting because your sleep is constantly interrupted for at least a month. As they grow, they can go longer between feedings but it's still hard work. But it's incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and see their progress day after day. It's impossible not to become attached to them, so it's really sad when you have to let them go, and then you worry that life might be cruel to them since you never know what type of environment they'll live in once they leave your home. Mallory, I see you and I love that there are people like you in this cruel world, who give these precious new souls a fighting chance at having a great life. Your efforts make all the difference to them. Thank you for that.
