Often when they’re breathing rapidly like this, it’s a clear sign of pain. Stretching out, turning to other side, especially when breathing like this, is impaction. Rabbits can’t throw up. Get a bag of Critical Care. Easy to use. Mix just a little with water, gently syringe-feed them. If not sure how, ask your vet!! Do not put them on their back ever!!! You can also gently massage their middle working toward their rear end. You gently lift & massage as you work backward to tail. It’s not comfortable for them as they’re in pain!, but it can help move along/loosen an impaction. They will most likely try to get away from you. Let them. Don’t force them to stay. Movement & jumping can sometimes help. Always have the Critical Care on hand as most times, this is all that’s needed. Clean litter box out so you can see when/how much bunny poops. No poo in 24 hours is an emergency situation! Bunnies will die if they don’t!

Thats my Paffa the last photo with her taken after her dead she died at night today -Please if u have young bunny even with no sights of bad health go to vet because they can die fast with no signs they hide it very easy… I feel disgusting because I didn’t see changes in her

I know how you feel, everything will be fine. Mine also overcame two serious illnesses, but didn't make it through the third. Bunnies are EXTREMELY sensitive! (I know this because the very day mine got sick for the third time, it died, whereas my dog and canary didn't die the same day in fact, they're still alive). You need to take EXTREMELY good care of him!!!

My bun also of course needed scans to diagnose him properly etc all cost thousands so if don’t already insurance is so important and so worth it ! I’m with Pet plan around £16 a month and”The healthy pet club” free bag of hay or food a month and other benefits

This just happened with my bun last week- it’s the scariest thing ever, but taking him to the vet is the best decision ever. Romeo is in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
