Our daughter was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at 12 ( early onset) it was such a very hard road for her and our family. She worked so hard to make it through the dark parts. She is now 28, married with 3 beautiful children and in her final year of college. It took a lot of work and medication adjustments but there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Never give up and know that all of us families that have been there are always your cheerleaders 📣 I am so glad you stayed long enough to realize that you are worth the fight honey ❤️

this doesnt just give hope to those with schizophrenia, it gives hope to anyone else with mental illness that change their lives. reading this as someone with severe depression also gives me atleast a little hope for the future. the idea to just stay a little longer. just look forward to the small things and eventually youll have something big to live for that you didnt think youd ever have.

I was talking to one of my regular customers the other day about a memory I have of asking my friend if he also had suicidal thoughts he said “you’re 14 it’s just a phase you’ll grow out of it” I’m now 23 and I still have those thoughts and I question when will they go away ? I’ve tried every medication. I have schizoaffective bipolar disorder. This gives me hope that hopefully im not too far behind in life and I can achieve a career and become content with life.
