If they were protesting within 150 meters of an abortion clinic, they can be charged. I also believe it's a federal offence for people to try and convince someone out of an abortion near an abortion clinic.

I loathe these anti-choice protestors as much as anyone else with a functional brain... but you gotta be careful what you wish for.... or you are going to find out that the law you just suggested, well the government isnt just going to use it for that.... next time you want to protest somthing the government does for example, expect that new law to be interpreted extremely broadly and used to strip you of your rights
