@cbsmiami: A South Florida mother has been arrested in connection with the overdose death of her 18-month-old son earlier this year. FDLE arrested 29-year-old Pearlandria Boujolly of Miami-Dade on Aug. 20 and charged her with aggravated manslaughter of a child. The child was found unresponsive at a Miami home on Jan. 3 and later died at Jackson Memorial Hospital. An autopsy found fentanyl and a trace amount of cocaine in his blood. Investigators determined narcotics had been left in an unlocked room, where the child accidentally ingested a small amount. Boujolly was not home at the time. Boujolly was arrested at her Miami-Dade residence and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Detention Center. More charges are possible as the investigation remains active.
