Patriots wouldn’t perform well against ballistic or hypersonic. Pac2 interceptors are made for slower moving targets like jets. 🇺🇦 Only got few newer PAC 3 they have 2 rocket motors are small makes them faster. Those can shoot down ballistic, ballistic are as fast or faster then hypersonic, but PAC 3 can’t hit ballistic because it moves. THADD has better chance US has not gave that system. Aegis GB Block IA/IB systems made for hypersonic. US had two systems in Poland and South Korea, Guam, Japan. The patriot is low tier portable with limited range. They don’t even qualify to be used as homeland missile defense in US, THADD doesn’t really qualify either. US homeland uses permanent systems call Ground Base Intercept that uses GBI EVK interceptors that travel around mach 30 or 25,000 mph in midcourse phase. They also use Aegis system for homeland defense. Which US wont even sell GBI or black IA/IB to NATO, so wouldn’t give you Ukraine. Japan and South Korea only ones US trust with those and not reverse engineering. Patriots won’t save Ukraine.
