Raise the camper about half way and roll out the awning. Much easier to reach. Then raise it the rest of the way and adjust the awning once fully lifted.

Open the awning and lay it on the ground before raising the top. The awning goes up with the top and there is no stretching and needed step stools. Try it.

That's called a tent trailer. A camper sits in the bed of a pickup truck. Enjoy. I grew up camping in one of these.

I can't tell you how much I do not miss our pop-up. I can roll into the campsite now and be drinking beer in 20 minutes. 😂 unhook, put the jack's down, hook up the electric and water then slide out the slide and awning. Done.
