I’m a huge fan and I just have to say that I have never seen anything like the type of negativity and terrible things that were being said about him or Argentina throughout the entire World Cup… And I mean like Geo political things this and that I mean I would do videos and just talking about how I was excited about seeing my favorite player at age 38 scored three goals in the opening game he put on a master class and I was told things like I need to go back to Tel Aviv and all types of stuff. I’m literally human rights. I mean it’s just like astounding the things that just being a fan of his for 20 years and I’ve never seen something. I love soccer. I follow it but I will say this I feel like the commentary of he’s not a good captain or no can’t get his team under control… I largely don’t agree with that over his career and I think that the end of the World Cup final where he was emotional and finally getting fully accepted by the fence from Argentina, who had for years that thought he was enough of this or not that well at the same time, knowing how ill his father was and then in the game the other night seeing him score 11 days after his father passed away is beautiful for me, but I hate still cannot imagine he is fully focusing on getting his teeth under control or whatever people are saying, but again when somebody is at that level of talent, there’s always gonna be there questioning of every single thing… So yeah it’s still pretty amazing that at 39. He is still one of the best players in the World.

iirc cavan is already signed to go to man city when he's 18, definitely has a very exciting career ahead of him! tbf the appeal of messi is that he's the greatest to ever play the game so I do get that but as someone who is here for my MLS team... what they get away with is outrageous. that making the other team wait at halftime thing pisses me off so bad. I'm glad to be in the western division lol
