My standards for what I expect from the acting on film has raised dramatically since watching this series. Perhaps the sweetest, most moving scene in season 1 (I mean, I say that about every single scene so don't quote me.) Ilya finally opens up to Shane and also finally receives his first real genuine hug since maybe, his Mom's passing.
