Stocks represent companies. The stock market represents all stocks. Indexes represent some stocks. Companies represent groups of people, and groups of people get older and are not able to stay efficient. New companies represent new people—and younger people. Do with this information what you will.

Been saying this for over a year. Now with the recent rise of OPEN SOURCE A.I. the A.I. BUBBLE is even more likely to burst in the next 3-5 years, & it will be the biggest in history (Dot Com Bubble will look small by comparison) - most will crash & burn, & only a few will survive & thrive. Stock market will crash, & so will the housing market. Bankruptcies will skyrocket (business & personal). Smart people will protect assets now.
