Would be amazing to change the law in the NHS, meaning, to have bloods done, before starting HRT (even after 45 years old), monitoring every 3 months after HRT is starting at least for an year to follow up. This would very much improve the certainty to be on HRT, and more women would have a better life! I’m saying this because in a time when the women have quite a busy life is difficult to work out which one is menopose symptom or which one is overworked symptom.

As a manager of nurses 100% women) who needs to home visit, how on earth am I going to be able to say- yes I can support you working from home! 😳 As a menopausal nurse, doing home visits- yes, I would like to work at home too. Sorry sick people.

Can’t fault my company I have flexibility and can work at home when I like, they give the male employees tool box talks on menopause too of how to deal and support female colleagues and we have something called a chatty cafe every 2 weeks for female to dial into teams with a cuppa and we all sit and chat about symptoms, issues and it’s a support group
