fireworks are illegal in the city I live in. every year before the 4th of July the city spends a good amount of money putting up signs everywhere saying that fireworks are legal and you will be arrested if you use them in city limits. and every year , despite all of that, despite the holiday always taking place in the same day, despite the police presence being higher, the entire city has fireworks going off everywhere. why? there is simply too many people doing it at the same time to actually do anything about it, even if they wanted to do something about it. police resources are finite, they can prepare all they want they might even arrest a bunch of people but there's only so much they can do

Eh. 🤷🏼 I think it has a chance of some success. Easy to get lost in the shuffle amidst the Halloween antics. To be fair I live in S. Minneapolis. Think you’d be hard pressed to find 12 folks willing to convict.

I’m the color of a halibut belly but every time I see a video about this planned action I think, “certain people are not paranoid enough”. 😳 I’m all for putting sand in the gears of the machine, just with a little more stealth and savvy.
