he inspired me to be myself, to express my style, to cut my hair short, to feel confident. he got me into metal, we had a playlist that was almost 30 hours long, we got matching AIC shirts, he got me into megadeth and slayer, we texted everyday, we were so close that people thought we were dating. than we both switched schools and i didnt see him that much. we still texted but it wasnt the same. suddenly he started listening exclusively to rap, he got rid of his band tees and only wore nike tech, he became a christian, he became homophobic and transphobic and told me i needed to repent for my sexuality. he made bigoted jokes. he got rid of his long hair. i told him i didnt like the person he became. i was always texting first, once i stopped, we never talked again. i still miss the person he used to be. i miss the old Luke.
