@madeweavelove: If you’ve wondered where I’ve disappeared to 😂 It’s the 6 week holidays and being completely honest I’ve been putting the kids first and work second. I want to spend this time making memories with them rather than worrying about being consistent online. It’s always been one of the hardest things to juggle being both self employed and a mum…showing up online, while also being present for the girls. We’ve been having SO much fun getting to know our new @Latitude Tents roof tent. We all absolutely love it. We even managed to get all 4 of us and Big Rodge in it last night… although getting him up was easier than down 🤭 A few months ago I didn’t even realize roof tents like this existed, and then suddenly I was looking at dozens of different brands. I’m so happy with my choice though. The team at Latitude are so passionate about what they do and there’s such a lovely community online too. It’s made exploring and getting away together cheaper, easier and so much more fun. The sheltered entrance and the size was the biggest selling point for us. And it’s sexy 😎 This video includes a little look at me setting it up, which was a must for me as I wanted to be able to do it solo in case I go away with just the girls. It was so simple, however after my first attempt as a short woman with a tall van and roof tent… I definitely needed a ladder which made the world of difference. I’ve also included some clips from our stay at @littonlakes which is just down the road from us! I had no idea it was even there. It was honestly magical and absolutely perfect for kids and dogs. I definitely want to go back and spin yarn by the lake. I did bring some work with me but got completely carried away kayaking and playing cards 😂 If you’re missing my calming content, please don’t worry! I’m back to work full time in just under 2 weeks, so normal content will be back very soon! I’ll still be posting my usual reels and calming videos across socials but I’ll also be putting more focus into showing techniques/tips and other helpful fibre related content.
