The issue with communism is that it cannot work. Regardless of how good it looks in theory it just can’t work in reality. Communists like to say that “real communism has never been implemented” as a defence to why it’s failed 30/30 and inadvertently disproving their own argument. Why? Because if it’s been tried 30/30 times and never achieved “true” communism it’s a direct reflection that it’s incredibly hard to achieve or outright impossible. This is because human nature will always get in the way. And I think it’s funny how the Soviet Union practically “was” communist but then failed, and because it “failed” the only defence o communists have is that “it was real communism” instead of realising it was real communism, but human nature just got in the way and made it fail, ergo communism is impossible (even if it looks good in theory). Cause what value do dreams have if it can’t be replicated into reality. Nothing. And that’s my point. Regardless of the downsides to capitalism, it still works somewhat well unlike communism which doesn’t.
