Did u watch the scene? Elena felt like Liz was her mother she left and Damon was comfort to her throughout this. Like when Caroline the day of her mothers funeral she needed Stefan to give her comfort and to tell her that he loved her . Y’all just wanna put two best friends against each other and make Elena look bad friend. BOTH made mistakes, BOTH are great friends and BOTH GRIEVED DIFFERENTLY.
