My daughter one day insisted on wearing one shiny red shoe and one shiny black shoe. She was probably 2-3 years old. My mom would say let them dress themselves. So she wore both shoes 🤦🏻♀️. And the comments I got were “she dressed herself” “I get it”. You’re doing a great job! You’re keeping her clean, dressed, fed and a roof over her head. You should be very proud of yourself. And who are we to be judging anyone.

She looks great Dad! # 1 mom tip. Dresses and skirts get shorts underneath if u can’t see them I don’t worry about matching colors but girls always need bottoms on. Hair- bows are a perfect way to spruce up any outfit. Curl cream for her hair- water it down and scrunch. You’re doing great!

As a preschool teacher: they are 100% NOT judging you. The fact that you’re a dad that is trying to be there for your daughter and learn new skills that you didn’t need to earn before is more than enough! You’ll be surprised at how many MARRIED men don’t even put in that much effort for their girls! Good job dad!!
