@btnewsroom: "We will not stop until our demands are met. We will continue the struggle." Production lines ground to a halt across Hyundai Motor’s Ulsan, Asan, and Jeonju plants in South Korea on Friday as workers staged an eight-hour strike over stalled wage negotiations. This was the union's first full-day stoppage in a decade and marks a significant escalation following the 16th round of talks that occurred on August 18. Those talks ended without resolution. While Hyundai has proposed an 89,000 won ($64) monthly base pay increase and a performance bonus of 350% of monthly salary, these still fall short of the union’s demands. Workers are calling for higher wages commensurate with the company’s profitability, retirement linked to the state pension eligibility age, and the reinstatement of dismissed union members. Workers are already planning four-hour partial strikes on August 24 and 25.

A Whisper In A Mosh Pit :
The fastest way to level the playing field is to become a moneyless society. Dollars are fractions of shares of power, the catch is that the people who issue those dollars have the ability to create more at will: endless power. With that, they get people to sell out and oppress each other. The answer is to collectively live altruisticly in goodness. Anything done should be for the good of the thing being done, not an ulterior motive like money. When this is the way of life, people won't put their efforts into things they dont see value in. Crime would be all but non-existent because most crime is financially motivated. A good society is built on giving freely, not oppression, bondage, and debt. Things exist, the access to their existence should not be paywalled. Earth could and should be somewhere to come and have a life time of wonderful experiences together, not a life time of slavery in which the ability to have your basic needs met is held for ransom. We need to be fueled in goodness, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
