I saw a very good video that said that the dead Hal was a alien. And John checked his hand because the ring leaves a green stain on the finger and he was checking if it was the real Hal.

Hear me out, what if throughout between 2016 and 2025-26. Hal Jordan realised that training John Stewart "wouldn't work out", so he instead decide to train Guy Gardner and then passed his ring to Guy once he finished training him before his (Hal) death?

Maybe the ring went to Guy even though he already has his own ring? That would support what King said that Guy has Hals ring even though he already has his own ring.

Well is an easy fix a ring can reject a host as well. So Hal doesn’t have to kick the bucket. The ring just left him. John will get another ring. It’s not that complicated. If you know your lore then you know parallax possesses him right?
