Just a random side note: I love Padre Pio and he was one of the holiest people to have lived in the last 100 years. IMO the holiest. But it’s mind blowing to me that he was a daily smoker. They knew it wasn’t good for your health but just as a drinker or obese person eats til their fill, he smoked to escape. Say what you will but that’s wild. I bring that up bcz of the mentioning in this video of Pius’ tobacco habit
