@kara_marlene: 😳 THIS CROSS-EXAMINATION TURNED INTO PURE COURTROOM CHAOS. Reddington started pressing Dr. Avram Mack on something pretty basic: Who did you actually talk to when you were evaluating Lindsay? He asked whether Mack had spoken to collateral contacts — family, friends, other people who could independently describe Lindsay’s life and behavior. Then came the question: “So how is it that you can tell this jury what her life story is?” Mack said he got it from Lindsay herself. And from there, everything got messy. Mack looked toward the judge. Reddington immediately called it out. Then the judge stepped in and basically told him: Look at the attorney asking you the question and answer the question. The DA jumped in. Reddington pushed back. Everyone was talking. And for a few seconds it felt like the entire courtroom had lost the plot. 😂 But underneath all that emotion, Reddington’s point seems important: If you’re giving the jury an expert opinion about someone’s mental state and life history… how much of that opinion came from independently verifying information, and how much came directly from the person you were evaluating?
