I follow Quran only and reject hadith, but it wasnt bc of the reasons that were named i just read the Quran myself and did research on hadith books and used logic.

As a catholic convert, I do not see any difference between the New Testament and the hadiths. They are text that were written hundreds of years after the prophets by men.

I want to start by saying I really respect you and have listened to a lot of your videos on YouTube. So when I saw your recent video on hadith rejection, I was incredibly intrigued and wanted to share a different perspective. As a revert, before becoming Muslim I moved to a country with a tiny Muslim minority, the majority population practiced idol worship. Within a couple months of being there, I decided to fast for Ramadan and was led to read the Quran. From the Quran alone (before I even knew what a hadith was) I accepted Islam and began practicing as a Muslim. It was Allah alone who guided me and gave me the knowledge, with no one else and nothing else in between. It was only later, on social media, when people started throwing hadiths at me, that I looked into it more and realised many of them didn't align with the Quran itself. I wouldn't call myself a "hadith rejector" I accept that hadiths exist and that some may hold value or context. But there's a real difference between acknowledging that and treating them as the word of God or a command from God those are two completely different things. Someone can absolutely follow Allah and follow Islam through the Quran alone. You do not NEED hadith.

Finally a scholar who can speak with kindness about this. We have seen the verbal abuse that creators like ayah has gotten for rejected Hadith without anyone stopping to think about why she has come to this decision. She has said herself she was once a devout devout Muslim

We don’t need to reject Hadith but we must be critical about them and research each Hadith heavily it is not the literal world of Allah like the Quran should we completely reject them no but I know Allah is all merciful he will not want us to follow rulings made by men that have no mercy in them

This video resonated with me a lot i feel like i have been struggling with Hadiths recently as a young muslim woman, specific Hadiths are so strict on woman, and i feel like its been impacting my Iman…like i cant believe the prophet said all of these things? Ive started reading the Quran and genuinely i feel like i am able to connect to it and feel at peace, but when i read Hadith’s online i feel like dirt on the floor and like woman are ultimately “cursed” and men are the standard.

Those Hadith rejectors seem to think that Prophet Muhammad was merely a postman who delivered the Qur'an and then left everyone to interpret it however they wished, without explaining it or interacting with the people around him when they had questions.
